SsangYong Tivoli available to lease from £159/month

SsangYong may not be the most well-known name in the car business, but the brand is hoping to win over a number of new customers with its brand new Tivoli compact off-roader, which competes against models such as the Suzuki Vitara and Skoda Yeti.

Key to the Tivoli’s appeal is its low pricing, with the model available from £12,950 and £159/month on a PCP finance package. A 36-month, 10,000-mile per year finance package for the entry-level SE model will set buyers back £159/month with a customer deposit of £2,993.

With an interest rate of 6.68 per cent customers will pay a total of £8,558 over the duration of the loan, with the option to purchase the car for £6,000 after three years – taking the total spend to £14,558, with interest accounting for £1,608.

Should buyers not want to keep the car, they also have the option to hand it back at the end of the lease or trade it in against a new model. Drivers who cover more than 10,000 miles will have to pay a further 9p per mile excess mileage charge.

The new Tivoli is available with 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines along with six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. Buyers can also opt for front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive versions.

Helping to persuade buyers to go for a SsangYong, the car company is offering a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, along with 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, seven airbags and steering which can be made heavier or lighter, on all models.
