MINI will launch its new Clubman series for general sale before Christmas, with the new model’s prices starting from £19,995.

The 4-door estate boasts more space than the last version, with increased boot space. With the rear seats folded down the Clubman has lots of room, with the model retaining its iconic split rear doors.

MINI’s latest TwinPower Turbo Technology engines have been used in the series, ranging from the 3-cylinder petrol in the base version, up to the 4-cylinder diesel in the SD model.

The D Clubman has been fitted with an efficient 4-cylinder diesel engine, giving 68.9 mpg and only 109 g/km of CO2, whilst the sportier SD offers 114 g/km and 62.8 mpg.

Also, with top speeds of 142 mph in the S Clubman, it isn’t pedestrian either, with the 0-60 mph time under 10 seconds on all models.

The Clubman is fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, but this can be upgraded to a six-speed Steptronic transmission in the base model, or an eight-speed Steptronic gearbox in the S, D and SD.

As standard equipment, the Clubman comes with MINI Navigation, Bluetooth handsfree, start/stop with keyless entry and MINI’s Excitement package, which includes LED interior and ambient lighting, as well as a projection of the MINI logo from the driver side mirror every time the car is either locked or unlocked.

MINI also expect customers to pick the Chili Pack, which includes parking assist, heated sports seats and automatic air conditioning.
