Infiniti is to reveal a refined version of its QX70 at the upcoming Frankfurt International Motor Show.

Named the QX70 Ultimate, the luxury crossover SUV is set to be more expressive and exclusive than ever, with subtle front and rear design changes, including new dark chrome trim, as well as a new front splitter and rear diffuser with an integrated fog light.

The QX70 will sit on 21-inch anthracite alloy wheels and will feature daytime running lights, creating a distinctive look and strong road presence.

These new features lend to the car’s sporty performance, whilst it retains the ability to fit effortlessly into the most active and demanding of people’s needs.

Inside, the Ultimate’s spacious and luxurious cabin has been decked out in soft leather, purple stitching and the surfaces finished in a shiny black lacquer.

François Goupil de BouillĂ©, vice president of Infiniti Europe, said: “The QX70 has long struck a chord with buyers seeking something exceptional but the Infiniti QX70 Ultimate is designed to respond to the most exclusive needs and desires of buyers.”

To power the sporty SUV, buyers will have the option of either a 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine or a refined 3.0-litre V6 diesel unit. Both are mated to a seven-speed adaptive shift automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted gearshift paddles.

Following it’s world premiere at Frankfurt on Tuesday 15 September, the QX70 Ultimate will go on sale with prices starting from £52,430.
