Infiniti announces Q70 pricing

Price and specification details have been confirmed for the refreshed Infiniti Q70 saloon, which is available to order through the marque’s UK dealer network now.

Starting from £32,650 and rising to £44,100, the Q70 is a mid-sized executive saloon, which the Japanese brand hopes will steal sales from established UK favourites such as the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series.

A large proportion of drivers in the executive saloon market are company car users, and key amongst the revisions is a new, 2.2-litre diesel engine, which replaces the outgoing 3.0-litre version, bringing with it lower CO2 emissions. The 168bhp unit emits just 129g/km, though isn’t enough to compete with the cleanest of its rivals, such as the Audi A6 Ultra, which emits just 117g/km.

Other engine options include a 316bhp 3.7-litre petrol V6 and a 3.5-litre petrol hybrid drivetrain, which develops 359bhp. The latter is capable of getting the Q70 to 62mph in 5.3 seconds, though it emits CO2 at a rate of 145g/km.

Four trim levels are available, with even entry-level Premium models coming equipped with front and rear parking sensors, LED headlamps, a rear view camera, sat nav, heated and air conditioned leather front seats and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Move up a rung to Sport trim, and the Q70 is upgraded with revised suspension, larger brakes and 20-inch alloys.

Both trim levels are available in a separate ‘Tech’ configuration, which sees the addition of choice toys such as adaptive cruise control, a Bose sound system, a 360-degree view camera and lane departure and blind spot warning systems.
