Audi A5 Coupe and Sportback made more efficient

The A5 range of Audi cars has been refreshed and refined for 2012, with a focus on improving the efficiency of the models.

Key to this is the introduction of the new 2.0-litre TDIe engine. It is said to deliver up to 163bhp, while emitting just 115g/kmof carbon.

The engine can also achieve fuel economy of up to 64.2mpg, reducing the financial pressure of fuel costs on the driver.

These engines have been placed in both the A5 Coupe and A5 Sportback, which have been redesigned to make them sleeker.

Audi has also added SE Technik specification available for all four-cylinder TDI models. This package saves nearly £2,000 on the price of all the individual included options combined.

Options include 17-inch alloy wheels, Milano leather upholstery, three-zone climate control, Bluetooth mobile phone preparation and a colour Driver’s Information System.

The A5 Sportback is priced from £27,320 on-the-road, while the A5 Coupe starts at £28,775.ADNFCR-2576-ID-801284066-ADNFCR
