Toyota has released some more details about its new 2012 Land Cruiser V8, including the new off-road turn assist feature.

The technology reduces the car's turning radius, while multi-terrain select functions are complemented by a crawl control feature that enables closer control when negotiating hills.

The new vehicle is set to go on sale on March 1st, although the £62,285 price tag may see a number of drivers waiting until they can get the Land Cruiser cheaper, perhaps at a used car dealership.

Toyota has integrated new black roof rails and other features onto the UK model, which comes equipped with new 20-inch alloy wheel designs.

Other features include a revised 4.5-litre engine that meets Euro 5 emissions standards and variable flow control power steering.

There is also a rear view camera to assist with parking and four external cameras to provide 360-degree views of the vehicle's surrounds.ADNFCR-2576-ID-801268398-ADNFCR
