New developments of the Volvo S60, V60 and XC60 models have improved the already successful vehicles in the "most extensive development of existing models in [the] company’s history", according to the manufacturer.

With a focus on quality and attention to detail, the carmaker has enhanced fuel consumption to 70.6 miles to the gallon and emissions to just 106 grams per kilometre for the S60 D2 model, amongst several other improvements.

From an aesthetic and comfort point of view, the R-design specification range now boasts superior sports seats - having been trialled on almost 100 people. Not only that but project designer Patrik Widerstrand said the new seat design also allows more legroom for rear-seat passengers.

New upholstery colours and wood inlays further enhance the interior design of the vehicles.

The Sensus Connected Touch system has enabled greater ease in online functionality and washer nozzles have been relocated underneath the bonnet so they are now out of sight. The range also offers more choice of wheels, giving customers greater freedom to personalise their vehicles.

Currently, the S60 and XC60 are Volvo’s bestselling models across several important markets, making the development vital in order for the brand to remain competitive against rivals.ADNFCR-2576-ID-801545747-ADNFCR
