Give your used car an extra sparkle for Valentine's Day

Many people are looking for numerous inventive ways to show their partner that they love them this week, as GEM Motoring Assist urges drivers to consider sprucing up their car for Valentine's Day.

Menial jobs such as topping up the oil and polishing windows may often be put off for weeks. Therefore, take some time to top up all of the oil and washer fluids so they don't have to.

Once that is done, get out the shampoo and chamois and give the car a wash and polish, including the windows and interior spaces. Many may find they need to de-clutter the vehicle before beginning to clean, so take time to clear out any old rubbish, receipts or discarded items hiding in nooks and crannies of the car.

Chief executive officer of GEM Motoring Assist David Williams points out that many romantic evenings will begin and end in the car and therefore it could be a nice gesture to clean it up. He added: "Offering a pleasant and romantic environment from the very start could mean the beginning of a beautiful journey together, rather than the end of the road for you and your partner."ADNFCR-2576-ID-801538019-ADNFCR
