Entourage's Jeremy Piven gets ticket for talking to radio station

Entourage star Jeremy Piven was giving an interview to an Australian radio station when he was pulled over and given a ticket.

The 45-year-old star was giving listeners to Sydney-based 2DayFM the lowdown on plans for the upcoming Entourage movie, while driving through Los Angeles.

However, it seems Mr Piven was not going hands-free, and while he was talking an LA cop pulled him over for talking on his phone while driving.

Now wanting to miss an opportunity, Piven let the station have a word with the officer.

"Obviously Jeremy is so famous that we feel really privileged that we're talking to him, we called him at the wrong time, we apologise. Is there any way you can let him off?" asked host Jackie O.

"No," the cop firmly replied.

Piven plays fast-talking Hollywood agent Ari Gold in the hit TV series, a role which has won him an Emmy Award.
