Young women 'love the new Fiat 500 Pink'

Fiat 500 Pink 'attracts young women'

Young female drivers are set to be wowed by the new FIAT 500 Pink, it is claimed.

Fans of FIAT cars may be excited to note that just 500 examples of the 500 Pink are available and the special edition vehicle can only be ordered online.

The 500 Pink went on sale yesterday (January 19th) and appears set to become 2010's "must-have fashion item", according to FIAT.

It is the first of several special edition 500s being launched this year and is based on the 1.2 Lounge specification, which includes start and stop technology, a sunroof, leather gear knob, black interior and a special pink key cover.

The FIAT 500 Pink costs £11,700 on the road, which the carmaker says is just £1,000 more than the 1.2 Lounge but with £1,500 worth of extra equipment.

"It will appeal to free-thinking drivers who have a distinctive personality and … we have no doubt that it will prove a fantastic purchase for its new owners," said Elena Bernardelli, marketing director of FIAT Group Automobiles UK.

FIAT also recently launched the new Punto Evo, which is priced from £10,995 on the road.
