Subaru Forester set for Santa Lapland visit

Subaru Forester set for Santa errand

A Subaru Forester is set to be driven all the way to Lapland to make a special delivery to Santa Claus.

Sarah Turner of Hingham in Norfolk is getting behind the wheel for the epic journey as Subaru links up with a local charity to help spread some Christmas cheer.

Ms Turner will hand-deliver a parcel of Christmas letters to Santa written by children who are cared for by East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).

The charity provides care and support for life-threatened children and their families in their own homes, as well as at the charity's three hospices based in Ipswich, Quidenham and Milton.

Ms Turner pointed out that the Subaru will provide plenty of storage space and all-important fuel economy, while EACH spokesperson Danielle Clarke added: "We rely heavily upon voluntary donations, and Sarah's journey should go some way to raising the profile of EACH in the local community and beyond."

Meanwhile, Chris Flynn of Middlesbrough has revealed that he has finally traded in his old Subaru Legacy, which he won in a Classic FM competition 11 years ago - for a new Subaru Legacy.
