Peugeot to debut concept cars in Geneva

Drivers of Peugeot cars can look forward to the unveiling of two new concept cars at next month's Geneva Motor Show.

It will be the first time that members of the public are able to catch a glimpse of the 5 luxury saloon and SR1 Sports Coupe, with the former promising a "bold design and innovations".

The 5 is powered by Peugeot's Hybrid4 engine, which produces zero carbon emissions when switched to electric mode.

"This revolutionary technology also provides fuel economy of over 74mpg and emissions of just 99g/km without any compromise in performance or refinement," a Peugeot statement said.

The selling point of the SR1 Coupe is its looks, which secured the accolade of the world's most beautiful car at the 25th International Automobile Festival.

Also on show in Geneva will be the 3008 and 5008, with the former having recently been voted Car of the Year by What Car? magazine.

Peugeot announced earlier this month that its January sales increased year-on-year by an impressive 46 per cent.ADNFCR-2576-ID-19633161-ADNFCR
