Honda CR-Z set for Geneva Motor Show debut

Honda CRZ Hybrid

The new European Honda CR-Z hybrid coupe will make its debut at the Geneva International Motor Show in March.

With sporty looks and agile handling, the carmaker claims that the latest incarnation of the model is the most exciting hybrid yet.

"The CR-Z is a great-looking, sporty car - that's also a hybrid," said Tom Gardner, head of marketing at Honda (UK).

"Kart-like handling and direct steering will make it great fun to drive, but the hybrid system means exhaust emissions are kept low," he added.

Among its striking features, the new CR-Z incorporates a six-speed manual gearbox, a 1.5-litre engine and preliminary fuel economy figures of 56.4 miles per gallon.

Fans of new and used cars will be gathering at the 80th Geneva Motor Show this year, which takes place between March 4th and 14th across the seven halls of the Palexpo centre.
