High hopes for EcoVelocity 2012 in London
The upcoming EcoVelocity green motoring exhibition in London this summer will see more than 17 low carbon automotive brands feature.
Guests at the May 10th-13th event in the ExCeL Centre will have the opportunity to experience over 7,000 test drives.
The show proved a huge success during its inaugural year in 2011 at the Battersea Power Station, so much so industry experts are expecting it to become even more popular in the future.
Citroen national events manager Neville Staines indicated that last year's event saw the brand offer 440 test drives, adding that the format proved a great success for sales too.
"We also took a considerable number of high quality sales leads, with interest not just in C-Zero (our full electric car) but also for our full range of low emission vehicles," he explained.
Managing director at organizer IGME, Giles Brown, explained the May date had been selected to avoid a clash with London 2012 Olympic preparations, to maximise publicity and media exposure.
