Cars for sale online 'represent great value'
Cars for sale at 'bargain prices' online
The process of buying cars over the internet has been given a massive thumbs-up by a leading consumer group.
Shopping for cars online is increasingly popular and it's a win-win situation, according to Which?.
The organisation states that car buyers can secure bigger discounts and obtain greater legal protection by purchasing online as opposed to traditional car buying methods.
Which? Car editor Richard Headland said: "The internet is revolutionising the way people are shopping for cars and we're all for it."
He added: "The web has thrown down the gauntlet to traditional bricks-and-mortar car dealerships."
Last month, drivers of used cars were given a series of money-saving tips by Which? for more cost-effective motoring in 2010.
The consumer group advised motorists to take simple steps such as finding the cheapest petrol station in the local area and threatening to switch car insurance providers when it comes to renewal time.
