Audi cars get new option packages
A new technology package is to be introduced for two popular Audi cars.
The option package for the Audi A6 brings together nine key technology and safety features, while the A7 option utilises these with an additional heads-up display.
Google Earth navigation mapping, in-car Wi-Fi and the Audi pre-sense multi-level safety system are just some of the features included in the packages.
There are also information and entertainment updates, such as MMI navigation plus with the MMI Touch fingertip recognition system, a colour Driver's Information System, Audi Music Interface iPod connection and a Bluetooth mobile phone interface.
A key addition is adaptive cruise control with stop and go functionality. This automatically regulates the speed and distance to the car ahead by accelerating or decelerating, within acceptable limits.
The A6 Package is available for £3,250, representing a saving of over £1,000 on the individual option prices. The A7 package with heads-up display is available for £3,750.
