Audi A4 allroad Quattro wins award
The Audi A4 allroad Quattro has won an award in Scotland.
At the annual Scottish Car of the Year Awards, the Audi was voted executive car of the year by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers.
The vehicle beat off competition from a number of other nominations, including the new Audi A5 Sportback.
Jeremy Hicks, director of Audi UK, said the award represented a "great endorsement" of the model.
"If proof were needed that the A4 allroad is fit for purpose
then an award made by Scottish motoring writers surely provides it," the executive added.
Last month, Audi unveiled a prototype for a "pioneering" new aluminium A5 Coupe.
The company said the car incorporates the latest in lightweight design, weighing in at more than 100kg lighter than the equivalent steel-bodied production model.
It will deliver a desirable performance but reduced carbon emission levels, the car maker claimed.
